Salty Sanctuary is a recently updated, sparkling clean Florida Keys vacation rental located in the Village of Hawk's Cay on Duck Key. Duck Key is a group of five islands (Indies, Centre, Harbor, Plantation, and Yacht Club) located off Overseas Highway on the northern tip or Marathon. Duck Key is home to an award-winning spa, dockside fresh dining, and 10 miles of paved roads through up-scale neighborhoods ideal for a leisurely walk or a morning jog.

Salty Sanctuary has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a private pool and over 1700 square feet of living space. The main living area showcases a fully functional kitchen open to the living and dining areas. French doors lead onto a beautifully manicured enclosed yard with a deck surrounding a large swimming pool with optional heat.

This secluded setting has ample seating perfect for entertaining family and friends, a midnight dip in the pool, a tranquil spot to finish reading your favorite novel, or a place to simply relax and enjoy the fabulous Florida Keys’ sun. The main floor bedroom boasts a king-size bed for a restful night sleep. The remaining sleeping quarters are located on the upper floor. The beautifully appointed master bedroom is at the back of the home, it too features a king-size bed and has a private balcony perfect to enjoy your morning coffee, as well as a private ensuite bathroom with his & hers sinks. The remaining bedroom has a King size bed and gorgeous deck where you can look out onto the tropical landscaping.



There is no need to travel to The Bahamas or elsewhere in the Caribbean to enjoy a tropical paradise, because we have a paradise right here in the fabulous U.S. Florida Keys. You have probably heard about how wonderful Key West is, but the other islands shouldn't be overlooked.

Why come to the Florida Keys? Collectively, the region is made up of hundreds of islands, so there are a ton of worthwhile stops to make during a road trip from the mainland down to Key West. You'll find plenty to do onshore and off, whether you seek amazing wildlife sightings or simply want to bask in the warm temperatures and sun.

Marathon is one of those special places that blend American history with the great outdoors. Marathon was founded in the 1800’s as a fishing village by New Englanders and continues to be a hot spot for fishermen. With its’ central Keys location, Marathon is the perfect Key to spend your vacation on. The island is located right in the middle of the Florida Keys, cutting down on drive times for anyone planning to visit a combination of Keys destinations. Top family-friendly attractions include visiting The Turtle Hospital, the world’s only veterinary-certified turtle hospital that cares for injured sea turtles and offers fascinating educational tours. It’s one of the most popular attractions in the Keys. Other marine lovers visit the Dolphin Research Center to swim with and learn about dolphins. Not enough outdoor activities on the agenda yet? Set out on a SUP or kayak tour around the mangroves. It’s not all fishing and boating in Marathon, though. You can hit up theater shows, check out museum exhibits, and eat at any of the tasty food festivals hosted on the island.

This home is located near but NOT a part of Hawks Cay Resort NOR is it affiliated with Hawks Cay Resort. Guests DO NOT have use of the private resort amenities.

This home DOES NOT come with the use of a boat dock or trailer storage. If you are bringing a boat please make parking arrangements.

Max occupancy is the number of occupants the City allows and does not guarantee to bed for that number. Please read bed description thoroughly. This home has a maximum occupancy of 8 guests however we do have additional guest fees for parties over 6 in the amount of $15+ tax/night per each additional guest, this includes children & infants.

This home is not pet-friendly.

Pool heat is available at any time of the year for a fee of $250+ tax per week before the reservation start date. If requested after check-in, additional fees may apply.

"We highly recommend the Salty Sanctuary for a getaway. The accommodations worked well for our party of six. The King beds were a plus since we were non couples sharing the beds. We had a few requests that came up and the management team quickly addressed our concerns. One of the highlights was the “heated” pool which was offered at no additional charge. We highly recommend this home and we would definitely reserve again when we return to Duck Key."

"The surrounding property is beautiful and the house truly felt like a sanctuary. We loved the little pool and shaded yard, beds and linens were comfortable, and we used the kitchen to prepare meals! There’s so much outdoor space to enjoy. It was a lovely stay. The location was great - 15 minutes to Sombrero Beach, and a grocery store. An hour or so from Key West, we were able to explore. We would definitely come back!"
