This ravishing resort is located on nearly six acres of pristinely maintained property and flourishing scenery. Your Tropical Retreat is a characteristic and charmingly decorated “Key West Conch-style” villa. Coral Lagoon Resort also features an in-ground pool with poolside seating, located directly across from this villa.
The spacious back porch provides exquisite canal views and features ample seating room for lounging in the sun or enjoying the ocean breeze. Coral Lagoon Resort presents an airy layout and alluring nautical themed décor throughout all the homes. Unwind in the roomy 1st-floor living room area that has abundantly cushioned seating centered around a 42-inch plasma TV that is equipped with cable and DVD/Stereo system. The couch pulls out into a bed for additional guest accommodations.
The gourmet kitchen holds stainless steel appliances, elegant granite counters, and cherry wood cabinets. Enjoy a quick snack on the stools at the breakfast bar or dine-in at the dining room table that provides seating for up to six people.
The bedrooms upstairs are all equipped with painted furniture and comfortable bed linens. The Master Suite offers a luxurious King sized bed, a private bath, a flat-screen TV, and a romantic private balcony with seating for two. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are furnished with one Queen sized bed and two Twin sized beds respectively.
Coral Lagoon Resort flawlessly accommodates every fishing and boating need, providing guests with use of an onsite full marina adjacent to the resort grounds. A boat slip is included with your Tropical Retreat vacation rental.

Fishing charters, boat and kayak rentals, scuba diving, and kiteboarding are just a few of the many forms of entertainment and adventure available to you in the Florida Keys.
You can also reserve a spot to swim with the Dolphins and Sea Lions up at the Dolphin Research Center in Grassy Key or tour the Turtle Hospital and Rehabilitation Center right here in Marathon.

Max occupancy is the number of occupants the City allows and does not guarantee beds for that number. Please read the bed description thoroughly. This home has a maximum occupancy of 8 guests however we do have additional guest fees for parties over 6 in the amount of $15+ tax/night per additional guest.
This home is pet friendly with a non-refundable pet fee of $250+ tax per pet / per week. Cats are not allowed.

"We planned a short trip to Marathon for my wife's birthday. The location was perfect, we could get just about anywhere in a few minutes. The home was very clean and spacious. This was the perfect place to settle down to at the end of the long days. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy the Keys."

wow...we were pleasantly surprised...the condo was spacious (we had 6 adults) quiet, clean and very nicely decorated...we rented from Cocoplum realty (Angel) and we had #18...I think the only downfall was we had to go home! lol, We rented bikes from Wheels to go...who delivered them right to our door! and picked them up the day we left! we biked all over its very bike friendly ..the Pool was clean and heated and the grounds were nicely kept. If you have a boat you can dock there...thanks for the best Christmas vacation!

This spacious modern 3 bedroom villa was just as advertised. Nice pool and boat slip for the independent traveler who doesn't need the trappings of a resort. Plenty of room for our family of six with two teens and grandparents for a pre-Xmas getaway

We spent a great week with the family at Coral Lagoon Resort. In house 18 we did not miss anything. The decor is very tasteful, the facility clean and the pool we often had almost all to ourselves. Optimal is the location if you have a boat and want to fish. Boat dock included.

Just back from a great week at Coral Lagoon. Our group of 7 stayed at this property for 8 days / 7 nights...3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a sleeper sofa...The townhouse was clean...the kitchen fully stocked with all you'd need to make most meals. The pool area was clean and quite pleasant. We had a dock just outside our door which was great for docking our boat (rental). I was worried about staying at Coral Lagoon because of all the negative reviews...We stayed in unit #18...Each unit is owned and managed differently...Unit #18 was flawlessly clean...and had plenty of towels, wash clothes, extra linen etc. The washer and dryer came in very handy as well. I wanted to compare Coral Lagoon to Tranquility Bay Resort, just down the street...Coral Lagoon and Tranquility Bay are built by the same builders...down to the decor...these townhomes are pretty much exactly alike. NOW Tranquility Bay has a beach...it sucks, but they do have a beach...Tranquility Bay has maid service (sometimes) and Tranquility Bay has a restaurant and Tiki Bar...they also rented Jet Skies...BUT I Tell ya for the money...I would stay at Coral Lagoon again, and again... We spent two days at Tranquility Bay and my kids just kept saying...Please take us back to Coral Lagoon. We like our place better...We like the small 25 unit property at Coral Lagoon vs the 87+ and construction going on at Tranquility Bay. While there isn't staff around at Coral Lagoon, you can rest assure that they are just a phone call away (CoCoPlum Vacations). They answered every call...and was accommodating to our needs...They even checked in to assure that we were enjoying our week stay there. WE DID!!! I would NEVER EVER Stay at Tranquility Bay again...at almost double the $$$ Tranquility Bay is only interested in collecting revenue, Coral Lagoon gets my $$$ and high ratings! IF in Marathon...Do yourself a fava...Stay at Coral Lagoon (#18) you won't be sorry.
Room Tip: “We stayed in unit #18 very clean...and the closest proximity to the pool. I could watch my kids swimming from our bedroom balcony...NICE!!! Each unit is owner specific...we used CoCo Plum to book, they were very helpful and assuring. Our unit had a new sleeper sofa - a big plus. Very neighborly feeling here...all another guest in other units were very friendly great pool conversations...Who caught the BIGGEST fish was they talk of most evenings. LOL...we did catch about 20 lobsters, a shark, and grouper...wow.”
“Great Vacation Rental”
We met friends from Scotland (we are from Idaho) in Marathon Key and stayed at Coral Lagoon Resort & Marina #18. This is a condo with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The rental was clean, well equipped and perfect for our 2 families. We ate breakfast on the porch overlooking the boat slip every morning. Anyone who needed alone time could go to their bedroom - all bedrooms had their own TVs. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with the dishes and cooking items we needed. It was quiet with a lovely swimming pool and close to everything we wanted to do. We would stay here again!
This is a nice convenient spot. There are fishing & diving charters within walking distance, in addition to several restaurants. Even though it’s near the Overseas Hwy there was no noise save the occasional airplane or boat. The pool area is really beautiful, as is the attached veranda along the canal.

Coral Lagoon Vacation Rentals Information
Arrival & Departure Information
Check-In: 5 PM on the day of arrival
Check-Out: 10 AM on the day of departure
Fully equipped kitchen with a wide array of appliances and cooking utensils.
Coco Plum Vacation Rentals provides a complimentary starter kit of soaps, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, and laundry detergent. Guests will need to provide ongoing supplies for their stay.
Garbage is your responsibility and the dumpsters are located at the backside of the boathouse on the opposite end of the back parking lot. These may be better accessed with your car as it is a good walking distance from your home.
You are not allowed to park on the grass or roadway in front of the unit for loading or any other purpose.
The home is fully equipped with linens, sheets, and towels that you will need. Beach towels are not guaranteed available.
- Quiet hours are observed after 10 pm
- Noise need be kept to a respectable level at all times
- Violators WILL be evicted
Due to the fact that these are wood-framed homes, propane and charcoal grills ARE NOT PERMITTED on or around the Coral Lagoon property.

The Coral Lagoon Boathouse Marina is in a well-protected lagoon. We have quick access to the Atlantic and Gulf that is best in class for the Florida Keys.
The Villa that you are staying at offers complimentary use of a marina boat slip. You are required to execute an In-Kind Lease and the marina charges a lease approval fee. There are other services that the Master Common Area Property offers our guests for a fee. Storage of trailers during your stay and access to a private boat ramp.
The fee structure for 2023 is:
Lease Approval Fee ($50.00 discounted for transit renter, $100.00 for long term renter more than two weeks)
Nighty Trailer Storage Fee $27.00 ($55.00 if boat is stored on trailer)
Ramp Fee is $11.25 for each use of ramp.
The marina association has specific requirements for any vessel staying on marina property:
The boat must have a minimum of $300,000 liability insurance with the marina named as additional insured, this information is provided to the marina by their insurance company with additional insured listed on the boat declaration page. This is an easy process if you have your agents name and email address. We provide a form with all the requirements. You cut and paste the document into an email and send to your agent.
The marina association lease must be fully executed. It is fully electronic you can fill out a form send it to our dockmaster, or call. Our dockmaster will guide and support you thru the lease process. Outside of the standard lease legal tenets. You are fully responsible for the Boat any time it is in the Leased Slip or Marina and responsible for the cost of all injury to persons, or damage to the Leased Slip, Marina facilities or any other Association property of others caused by the Boat, the Boat Owner or any Boat Related Persons.
