Tranquil and tropical, this resort is located on nearly six acres of pristine maintained property and flourishing scenery. The Sea Star is one of the few single-family homes at the resort, not an attached townhome. With windows on all four sides of this home, the interior is bright and sun-drenched. The overall square footage is larger than the townhomes as well.
Coral Lagoon Resort also features a heated, in-ground pool with ample poolside seating in both the shade and the sun.
The oversized, covered back porch provides peaceful canal views and features plenty of seating room for lounging in the sun or enjoying the ocean breezes. The outdoor dining area provides seating for up to eight guests.
The Sea Star features an airy layout and is professionally decorated in a relaxing sea glass palette. This home was completely remodeled with ALL new furniture, bedding, mattresses, etc. in late March of 2015 and again in 2019 with new wood look flooring on the main level. Many of the high-quality furniture pieces were selected from the Stanley Coastal living collection. All bedding is Sealy and has mattress encasements.

Walk into the gourmet kitchen boasting stainless steel appliances, elegant granite counters and cherry wood cabinets. Stocked with extra amenities such as an espresso/cappuccino maker and a margarita frozen drink maker with margarita glasses are also included. Enjoy a quick snack on the stools at the breakfast bar or dine-in at the dining room table that provides seating for up to six people.
The kitchen opens into a welcoming dining room that divides the living area. Here you can relax & make memories in the roomy 1st-floor living area featuring abundantly cushioned seating centered around a 55-inch flat screen TV.
French doors open from the main space onto the oversized, covered back porch provides peaceful canal views and features plenty of seating room for lounging in the sun or enjoying the ocean breezes. The outdoor dining area provides seating for up to eight guests.
2nd Level of Home
Upstairs bedrooms feature a soothing color scheme and comfortable bed linens. The master bedroom offers a luxurious King size bed, a private bath, a flat-screen TV and a romantic private balcony with seating for two. The 2nd bedroom has a Queen sized bed and the 3rd bedroom has two Twin sized beds.
This home will sleep six people comfortably in beds and also features a Queen size sleeper sofa with a Sealy mattress for 2 more. All bedrooms feature 32 inch, cable equipped flat-screen TVs with built-in DVD players.
Coral Lagoon Resort flawlessly accommodates every fishing and boating need, providing guests with use of the onsite, full-service marina adjacent to the resort grounds. Boat slip which is located directly behind the home is included with your Sea Star vacation rental.
Make sure to try out some of our local dinings and enjoy waterfront entertainment and music at several of our nearby restaurants. Sparky's Landing in Key Colony Beach and Burdines Waterfront located at the end of 15th Street are some of our favorites.
Fishing charters, boat and kayak rentals, scuba diving, and kiteboarding are just a few of the many forms of entertainment and adventure available to you in the Florida Keys.
You can also reserve a spot to swim with the Dolphins and Sea Lions up at the Dolphin Research Center in Grassy Key or tour the Turtle Hospital and Rehabilitation Center right here in Marathon.

This home has a maximum occupancy of 8 guests however we do have additional guest fees for parties over 6 in the amount of $15+ tax/night per additional guest.

Arrival & Departure Information

Fully equipped kitchen with a wide array of appliances and cooking utensils.
Coco Plum Vacation Rentals provides a complimentary starter kit of soaps, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, and laundry detergent. Guests will need to provide ongoing supplies for their stay.
Garbage is your responsibility and the dumpsters are located at the backside of the boathouse on the opposite end of the back parking lot. These may be better accessed with your car as it is a good walking distance from your home.
You are not allowed to park on the grass or roadway in front of the unit for loading or any other purpose.
The home is fully equipped with linens, sheets, and towels that you will need. Beach towels are not guaranteed available.
- Quiet hours are observed after 10 pm
- Noise need be kept to a respectable level at all times
- Violators WILL be evicted
Due to the fact that these are wood-framed homes, propane and charcoal grills ARE NOT PERMITTED on or around the Coral Lagoon property.

Your home comes with a dock slip that is directly in front of the home. Your slip number will be provided with your arrival information prior to your reservation. Your slip is limited to 34 feet overall and only one vessel allowed per slip. If your boat is longer than the allotted 34 feet it will be your responsibility to make arrangements and relocate your vessel to a marina or pay for a larger slip on the resort. The on site marina information is provided below.
If you are interested in bringing or renting a boat while on vacation please contact the Boathouse Marina to make arrangements for your trailer prior to arriving. They are located on site at Coral Lagoon and can be reached at (305) 481-0653.There are NO TRAILERS allowed to be stored on the rental property.
